Only a problem if I drop of the perch before I get them back - not easy to sell a part restored 500 with no wheels fitted. I'm collecting them in the morning.💀💀💀
;D ;D Love the positive approach !

Wow, that was cheap! Not only cheap but a fantastic result - almost too good to fit!!  ;)

I've tried the Power line route but it only works on the house ring main. I have installed a hard wired Ethernet cable into my garage Annex to power my CCTV PoE security system & an old PC in there.
Then you are almost there!

I havn't had a TV in many years and I don't miss it or the extortionate license fee! For free music I just love smoothradio.com , I access it from here: https://internetradiouk.com/

Actually Ted, that brings up a good idea - get a streaming device that has internet radio on it - I use Yamahas (no, not that type!) around the house (MusicCast using WiFi) but I'm sure there are many options
and providing you can get an internet signal then you have 1000'ds of stations to stream.....

That should get rid of 50 minutes of your life!! Interesting, however!

No matter what I do, the personal messages I get and read always come up as unread and hence I get a message saying you have a new personal message.
Any clues on how to get over this?

There used to be a product called Fertan that was pretty good at rust conversion. I think you can still buy it. Also Jenolite in the past as well. Whatever rust converter you use, use a decent epoxy primer on top. I have recently used some new primer and it is really good - I can let you know what it is if you want. Your best bet is to find a local refinishing centre and ask them to recommend something. Products get better all the time.

I've recently restored a few Brembo calipers for one of my other bikes. I was recommended some corrosion resistant epoxy primer (to quote the guy "...stick like etc etc.." after which some decent satin black was applied. Seems to be working well at the moment. The caliper on the 400 i'm working on was cerakoted. The advantage is that the paint has longevity.....(I hope!)

I like the idea of using 3D printer filament. Keep us posted on the results...
