Hi Everyone - Any SR 500 enthusiasts out there?

I’m struggling to find an original helmet holder and left hand grab rail for a 78 T reg single. Not the most fashionable old girl but she has her place in history and definitely worth preserving.

I wish I had the know how to achieve this level of perfection myself. I’m hoping to find a way to undertake a classic mechanics course when all this madness is over....Any suggestions?

Thanks Trigger. I guess they remain an enigma. Even with an original bill of sale it’s difficult to prove that it’s not an early import. If you can work out your date of manufacture and date of first UK registration that may offer something...

I don’t suppose anyone would have any knowledge of those first 500’s that actually appeared at the show? I have the original MM issue that reviews it but there’s no real detail on the Honda stand.
