For peace of mind I would fit a replacement crank with shells, for a low use bike not used hard they may well both work for quite a while

On the 750 caliper (but not the 500/400) there is an insert at the bottom of the pipe hole that can be removed carefully and transferred to the bleeder hole, it has an external "cone" on each end to alter the bleed seat to a pipe seat

If its a 750 I have to fit the brass insert into a upducer and retap the caliper, Works fine but sticks out a bit, This is because I can only get inserts for the smaller bleed nipple now

Hondamans system still uses the original points and coils and for what you want the easiest solution is a standard loom and switchgear just not connecting the bits you don't use

DO NOT under any circumstances cut holes for wires in ally bars, if you look at Honda steel bars they are strengthened where the wires exit at the centre. Way back when saw many "broken" bars where holes had been cut cos the owner didn't want to pay Honda's replacement prices

Frame number, engine number and a picture would help me fit it in

Valves probably not but definitely change the seals, tensioner is expensive but worth changing as old rubber goes hard and can break causing disassters

OK to use if no sieze marks, ring grooves ok and clearance in bore within spec, probably corrosion from not being used a lot
