Title: 400 4 Engine rebuild
Post by: speedblock80 on June 12, 2011, 08:42:07 AM
Hello all,i'm new on here and would like to know if there is anyone on here that knows plenty about these bikes that could help with advice and tips when it comes to rebuilding the engine on my bike. i have new piston rings and all the cam chain parts to go in,clutch friction and the usual consumables but would like someone with more knowhow to have a look at what i've got when its stripped to see what else i'll need. Basically i dont want to put it together and find out i should've put this and that bit right and have to start again. I'm in the midlands but dont mind travelling a bit if i have to to get it sorted.

All the best for now,Dave.

Hello Bryan,Steve, thanks for your replies and offers of help,i'm just off J11 of the M42 so not far from you Steve in Burton. My engine is still together at the minute and i have a bottom end that does'nt look like it's done much to me anyway so hopefully i can make something of the 2 engines at least.

Can you send private messages on this board or is it email?.

Thanks,Dave.
