Title: Gasket sealant on base gasket????

Dear all

Sorry if this is a stupid question but do I need to put any gasket sealant on the block base gasket?

No.  Just grease it up a bit so it seats properly

Thanks for that, just a "wipe on, wipe off" of standard grease?
