Also there's reinforced heavy duty primary chains available that sag less than the standard original RK ones.

I think they are made by IWIS in Germany.

John

Inveraray is a good central point to explore the Kintyre and Cowal peninsulas both back waters away from the hordes of traffic which swell the roads in the summer months. The two peninsulas offer beautiful rides along the sea lochs often just yards away for mile upon mile. I'd look into it if time allows.

Imho avoid the idea of doing the nc500 , an aerial view would show a mass of vehicles in transit round it, not what I'd like if seeking isolation beauty and peace. Perhaps a way of short circuiting that is to find a nice place to stay in the area and make forays to see points of beauty.

I've got an Italian Mold Lab kit sitting on the shelf here Ash, I'm intending fitting it to my 500K1, just haven't got around to it yet, it's on the list of things for me to do 🙄🙄🙄. It looks a great kit and those I know that have fitted it are very happy with it.

A lot of us people will not be happy as they are waiting for 750 units

I just found out that they were doing Kwak Z650B1 replicas .. now that would have been interesting.

A couple more places to see in Scotland are V&A museum and Captain Scott's ship RRS Discovery in Dundee, the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel, the Forth Bridges (Biker's Cove in South Queensferry for pitstop and viewpoint).

The argument for the Hondaman hybrid system is there is virtually no arcing at the points making them last 10s of thousands of
miles with no maintenance only the odd lube of the felt now and then. If there is a fault on the electronics it can be reverted back
to the standard system at the side of the road in a couple of minutes. I still run the original system but would go for the
 Hondaman if going electronic.

These scooters are a menace, they are not interested in biking at all, they are a means to earn money with little outlay.
I know for a damn fact many are also on benefits too!
