Title: Wasn't as nice as the photos in the flesh
Post by: AshimotoK0 on April 25, 2016, 02:50:38 PM
Contrary to James's observations  ;D ;D ;D that I have a mission to deflate CB750 prices. I still think the 400/4 is undervalued. This one wasn't as nice as it looks in the photos or description. And NO DS didn't buy it ! But there are some really nice ones about.

It's still nice though. I agree with you Ash, the 400/4 is undervalued. Prices seem to be stagnant compared to Dukes  :o. At least being low in price more folks will want to ride them and not sit looking at their 'investment'.

I was just joshing with you Ash. Agreed though, I think the 400/4 has yet to see its day value-wise

Surely the argument re values of Dukes rising faster is much down to the sheer numbers of 400/4's about. I have 2 400's so not knocking them. Had a Duke too for that matter and very agricultural compared to any Honda / Jap bike. Many see this as character, which again adds to demand!! My 500/4 I had back in the day, had more character than the 400, which is just soooo refined.
