K2 tried covering the filters didn't make any difference .but when I covered them up about 80% was worse .I've not checked with timing light I've got one on order .it does have electronic ignition with a ignitor box .bike is a 1982 model

Hi long shot this question. My gs550 is running really bad I've fitted k&n pod filters custom 4 into 2 pipe .Bike as c.v carbs dyno jet stage 3 kit fitted .problem is bike ticks over nice first part of throttle is good .When stood revs all way to red line .but when under load doesn't want to rev and pops and bangs bogs down .I've tried lifting needles up bigger main jets but makes no difference at all.im thinking it could be a timing issues. Anyone got any ideas I'm a little stuck .Cheers yozzzer

Yes when he cleaned them up he found that they had been filled with some kind of silicone.they don't leak so I can live with it .

Hi looking for some help been trying to bleed my breaks on GS I'm building .but can't get the leaver to firm up .it's got new break lines rebuilt calipers also using a front master cylinder from a gsxr 1000.could this be the issue?? There's no more air coming out of calipers now . [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

I got one of those pipes from carpys.fit is quite poor on them .did sound nice though.i have had a pipe for my new build made . which was around the same price .but fits great and made out of stainless.

K2 that was first thing we checked .yeah plenty of oil .will take a look at carbs .

Nope it stays there when clutch pulled in
