You have a problem in that you need a customs document to say duty has been paid or you will not be able to register it. If you want to call me on 07795162623 AFTER 8pm Sunday to Thursday inclusive i will try and give you some ideas on how to "cheat" NOTE:- Not Wed/Thurs this week for obvious, alcoholic, reasons

I know the 500/550/750 will all interchange physicaly but have slightly different springs to give different advance curves----after 30+ years all the springs will be worn anyway so give one a try.
also try www.westernhillshonda.net in USA postage is only airmail now so may be dear but its worth asking

Interchangeability / Re: CB550 Tank Badges.

Sorry Dave, still havent been near my "lockup" to check what i have. Sounds like the original 750 and 500 badges---they were the same except the silver/gold colour which is why you can only get 750 now

Yup but only for a short time, thats why you have to live with re-charging the battery! You should see the eyeballs melt if somebody upsets you though

Probably wont work on K4 as the usa used a RH dip sealed beam unit, BUT go to a car scrappie and any 7" light will fit including H4 halogen ones---instant upgrade as long as you dont ride with it on all the time as it will only charge over about 4,500 revs with the charging system in good order.

Cibie grat but dear

If you can live with re-charging the battery a CEV Marchall is fantastic as it has seperate bulbs for main and dip and with a small amount of jiggery pokery you get 220 watts on main beam

Well that is one answer, cant remember any specific problem with the 400 but back then they all got thrashed unmercifully so no one would have noticed

Sort of Mick, your close to one, I think the other wasBartons and i had good service from http://www.sparesdirect.co.uk/.

What Suzuki do is when they decide to obsolete a model they sell ALL the spares to onedealer and then its up to that dealerto import spares if he wants, or at least thats how it was years ago

Sorry mate, you can't get much farther from Gloucester so i cant pop round to help!

Careful when tightening the fork tube clamps on the top yoke---there is supposed to be a shaped washer in the gap to stop you over tightening and breaking the ally  but it regularly goes missing.
