Tsubaki is a decent chain, DID would be better but that can be subjective.
You'd need a chain splitter depending on how may links the chain has when it arrives, however with a split link you can just grind a pin off the chain and join it with the split link.

They'll do Simon, however probably cheaper to buy a kit off Ebay to suit. 34T rear sprocket, 17T front, 98 link chain, don't buy an oring chain, a good make like DID with a split link is fine, heavy duty is probably better.
I'll see if I can find one and post a link.

Try and see if you can vent the pipe so it goes onto the drive chain, any oily mist coming out of there aids in chain lubrication.

Well after working my sums out it appears I may have got a bit of a bargain when I bought these, so revised price is £12 for spring and thumb screw inc P&P. £5 more if you buy the ramp at the same time. All are brand new, in perfect condition, no rust or corrosion.

High beam has a frosted type lens so it doesn't dazzle you when the headlight is on, which makes sense because if you've got main beam on it's bloody dark as a rule. Indicator one should be bright, you need round type bulbs not the tall type which can melt the lens if it starts to touch it.
Just grab and twist, if they break they break, nothing you can do about that, maybe fit them with some silicon grease next time to stop the corrosion which causes this.

I'd get an AGM type Gary, no breather pipe taking paint off. The Motobatt MB12U looks ok.

By breather pipe I presume you mean engine breather pipe. If it's a 500 it goes from skull cap on top of camcover to the area around the main stand pivot and vents to air. If it's a 550 then it's supposed to go to the airbox but again it's better vented to air.

It's a 24.5mm O-Ring, part number 91306-703-000. Part number 27 in the parts book. The collar will come off as well if you want to remove it.

Your missing the point Roo, they may be 2 up when they arrive but if they are going to ride away on your bike they'll have to be one up on both, hence vulnerable.

Your cam cover end caps are almost done Simon, they were pretty bad with contamination and under the paint/lacquer was quite a bit of odd casting marks, like the surface has a rash. Took me a good while to get rid of it, spent about 4 hours on them now and they are almost ready to polish. I'll post a pic of them when they are done.
Swinging arm with needle rollers in will be better than the standard metal bushes, I've got a set in my swinging arm. However because of the way they are constructed the original grease nipples are useless as the cage blocks the exit point off. If your going to get the old swinging arm powder coated I'd advice putting a grease nipple in the centre of the pivot tube, just drill 4mm and tap 5mm and fit a small stainless grease nipple. Needs to be done before having it powder coated obviously, a small flat spot and a copper washer under the nipple will help seal it from leakage when pushing grease down it.

The swing arm had plenty of grease in it - I wonder how it had been greased - I'll take some better pictures of it .... it had different tube and different size big end cap things that go on the ends before fitting

Probably greased as the bearings were fitted. The end caps are odd, it's like a washer inside a washer, same as my kit.

They can't hold a hammer and ride a bike, especially setting off. Just wait for them to try and get away and kick the hell out of them, I'd take the hammer off them whilst they are on the ground and break their fingers with it, broken fingers REALLY hurt.

They seem to forget that they are at the most vulnerable when trying to ride the bike away, a swift kick and off they come and whilst they are flat out on the ground a good kicking can be applied.
