Try these guys https://vintage-engine.net/

They are brilliant, the boss is Barry and what he doesn't know about old bike engines is not worth knowing.

Often all they are after is a holding deposit, if you are desperate to buy you send £500 holding deposit and bang he has made a quick buck.

NRP are very good, have bought various carb kits from them and very helpful, don't bother with crap from china on ebay.

There can't be many 810 Yoshis still running, I would relish the idea and would think in a cafe racer then it's very desirable to prospective buyers!!

I used some at work back in the eighties and almost fell off a 20 feet stand under a wing, I don't remember what happened but didn't mind as I became quite spaced out! Can you imagine that happening nowadays!

ebay are not very good at this, I spotted a scammer selling a Z1 at a price that made you think oh well maybe he wants a quick sale, I then looked at what else he had for 'sale'.......... boats, cars, tractors around £1m of kit, so obvious, all the ads were just cloned from genuine ones, not rocket science but ebay doesn't look closely, why should it? It doesn't give a stuff really, too busy making a fortune using a few geeks at our expense. Treat any online site with great caution it's a new world for con men.

Hi there, if you have not had the engine running for a while then the first thing I would do is drain the float bowls and tank and put brand new good quality fuel in flushed through the drains and only then can you consider starting to look elsewhere, apologies for going back to basics but it's often the fix! Cheers Marvo.
