I would agree, CB500 fitted with CB750 oil tank? I'm no expert, but which bike was he copying?

Rear sprocket the wrong side as well.

I doubt it.   He's thinking - 
"I've spent bloody weeks making that and those bunch of picky bastards on that forum are taking the p1ss out of it.  Well stuff the lot of them"

Personally,   I think it's an excellent piece of work.
