Title: Hi from Hampshire
Post by: Red Bomber 72 on May 29, 2020, 12:30:34 PM
Thanks for having me! I have a '64 CB77 and a '72 CB350F. The CB77 is all complete and goes like a dream (scuse the pun) and I'm currently doing a top end rebuild on the CB350F much hampered by the PO butchering the head threads. There are many helicoils most of which have had to be removed, ally welded and recut. Expensive!

Welcome to the forum, I have a soft spot for the CB77/72 as it was my first new bike back in 1964, a fabulous bike, yours looks really nice.

Welcome, there are lots of helpful people here if you need help, that CB72 does look very nice, way back in time it and the CB77 were my dream bikes, at the time I was chugging around on an AJS 250 and my cousin had the CB72.

Cheers

Dennis

Welcome to the forum. A couple of very nice bikes there and I'm sure the pain and expense of repairing the PO bodges will be worth it in the end, think of it as character building.
And do I spot a Triumph lurking in the background?
