Have a look in the freezer, that's where I found mine. I put them in there to shrink them a bit prior to fitting 'tomorrow' but as anyone will tell you tomorrow never comes! I forgot all about them and got on with something else until the day came to fit them and I couldn't find them! One day the o/h asked me to take ’that metal’ out of the freezer! They fitted perfectly :)

just a quick follow up.  according to general youtube wisdom it is advised to warm up the swingarm in an oven, but not all of us have access to an oven that big.  so all i did was sit the bush end of the swingarm on a hot radiator for a couple of days and put the bushes in the fridge. i used 12mm threaded rod and nuts and washers and a mole grips on one end. an hour before fitting the bushes, i put them in the freezer.  to fit them, i put a small amount of grease in the swingarm and the bushes and tightened up with a ring spanner. they went in very smoothly so very pleased.  thank you julie :)

I found a brand new Lambretta bearing in the back of the freezer that had been in there for at least 5 years.
Must have forgotten about it and bought another.

Wonder how much it’s shrunk in that time, it’s still in there  :P
