As to the original senior moment, how about fitting a 750 morgo kit to a Triumph T110(pre unit) turning round and finding 2 gudgeon pin circlips on top of the gatepost with no idea if they are new or used!!

Some Kawasakis have the shims under, you need to do a CBX, evenwith a tool is a royal pia

You need to be carefull with what you buy as that is not a "standard" sohc 750 front end. It may be a dohc 750 not sure, check the diameter of the fork tubes

Only repair is a new stem welded in.
That where it has hit somthing hard, bent the forks and pushed the stem back.
Best use for that is holding the stem and beating the seller with the other end

Dirty oil not changed often enough, yes change them and infortunately with that marking check the ends as well

Personally that to me is a keep as is after teplacing rear rim, they are only original once and as to the value, all i can say is high
