Evening folks, over many years I have compiled a list of frame number along with build dates, usually from friendly US members and ebay sellers. This can be usefull in deciding wether its worth trying to get a "Historic" tax category so I hope the list comes out as a word attachment below.
DO BE WARY and read the red bits at the bottom.
If anybody has others to add please send them and I will add them in

PM sent.
That's looking good for me as the list suggests a build date of about August 1972, though it wasn't registered in the UK till March 1973.
I'd better get on with the rebuild after all then as it looks like it's a free tax disk!!!!!
;D ;D

Quite possibly worth the

updated list attached, now runs to 2 pages even on smallest font. Regards to all and any more that come along are more than welcome. I will always help members with an opinion on wether it is worth the cost of a dating letter.

I am still at a loss to understand how Honda could go from 210xxxx in 1972 to 206xxxx in 1974.
Still looking for another frame.......
-
Thtas 'cos the 72 is a US K2 whilst the 74 is a UK K1
-
And gets even more confusing with the 74/75 registered UK K1's which had K2 serial number engines from new !
-
If Im right then tax exemption is moving 2 years foreward to 'April '74 which will be nice as that gives me 2 or 3 exempted bikes if I can get round to rebuilding and registering.
-
MM, does this mean you might sell me one of your 1973 frames?
-
I thought I read it as January 74, but it is typical government gobledygooko so not easy to read
-
In all honesty I'd rather hold on to my projects for now as i have 10 viable engines and only 4 frames. That means my best option is to assemble them as running projects if i sell but before I do that i need to sort my own 500 sidecar and see what is needed.
