I fitted one of those so called heavy duty chains and they are crap. Tight spots after 3000 mile. You need a decent make like Regina zrt

I’ve managed to get a spare one from the Stafford show for £5. The screw in this one is stuck also 😂

Brake fluid is supposed to get around the threads.
I only have my float bowl on long term loan folks, so any help would be appreciated. Is diecast metal repairable ?

Tried to remove the drain plug from carb no.4 and it snapped off. I then used a screw extractor and snapped that inside the bit that was left. Not happy with that, I then tried to punch it out from the inside, slipped and cracked the bowl. Anyone got a spare they want to part with, because I’m well and truly screwed now.

It’s never really got worse. Always been there. Just wondered if other bikes did the same.

FFS, I picked up,a blue tape measure which aphappened to be in cm. The yellow one is in both imperial and metric. I work in both because I am a fisherman and a big barbel is 14 lb. God knows what it is in Kg, but I don't do it. Whilst we are on the subject, the tour of Britain has its course in kilometres, not miles, which annoys me to the point of kicking the fkn TV in. OK ?

Just this minute taken mine out of a cb750 K4 and they are 58cm. Put new ones in which are longer, but I don't know by how much and what difference it will make. I do know that without compression, the fork spring is not touching the top nut. I'd say they were 2cm longer.
