Title: Cb750f cylinder head removal
Post by: mechkid on March 11, 2005, 06:02:21 PM
I removed all the bolts to get off the cylinder head.  It won't budge now. I used a screw driver as a chisel but am afraid it might hurt something.  Any suggestions?
Thanks Billy

 :o   Chisle..... Noooooooooooo

The head is held down by a combination of sixteen (16) nuts some of wich are recessed in the spark plug holes, five bolts and four cross head screws.

It is most like that you have missed these screws. They are hidden beneth rubber disc type seals, and may be very difficult to remove.

:casstet: There should be no need for excisve force, after all the screws nuts and bolts are removed, a soft faced mallet should lift the head away, remember that there may be 6 or so steel dowels still holding the head to the cyclinders.
