Have you considered that running 17/35 sprockets has dropped your revs for running speed and may be contributing to your running problem? It was designed to cruise at a certain rev range

Do you not have an old sprocket to give him?

I did some math and 17/39 is damn near same as 15/35 and the cms one would  be here fairly quicly.
The rear sprocket part numbers only fit the various 450 models according to cms so probably not easy to get aftermarket now

15 to 17 is a big jump, personally i would fit one of the bigger rears from cms to compensate

Years ago i went to UK2.NET and now pay about £6 a year for blj.org.uk and they happily forward emails sent to there to as many other addresses as i wish, this is why if you hit reply on one of my mails it disapears and i dont recieve it but that dont bother me as if people dont read the bit where i say only send to blj@blj.org.uk do i need to talk to them!

You should find the spring washer will fit over the plain shank of the bolt but the plain washer will not

On an old bike it was always stated at estimate time that any extra work due to broken/siezed bolts was at the expense of the owner
