well, it's a start...



this is the beginnings of a phil read rep that i recently purchased. i'm picking up a honda britain in a couple of weeks as well and both will be worked on side by side, although priority will be given to the britain as it's all there, so i'll post progress as and when.

there is very little you can do to the motor but you can upgrade the suspension. it depends how far you need to travel though. i met someone yesterday who has covered over 80,000 miles on a honda 250 with a cage on the back seat for the chickens he sells in the local market. enjoy the ride, you dont need a big powerful bike to have fun.

never, ever use anything that has been damaged on a critical item, which the fork is. there may well be other fractures not visible which could prove fatal. keep searching!
