I've just been reading about fitting Cb125s piston rings as a replacement for cb500 unobtainable rings. The rings fitted to my bike have the three piece oil ring, so which of the Cb125' s (year/model) also fit this type of rings?? Assuming this is the case!!

If its been it dont matter if you use the one piece oil rings, the3 piece was a modification, if you are running as a normal old bike i.e.not ragging it flatout the one pice is fine

The CB125S -----330----- piston and rings fit the 500/4 . The piston valve cutaways on the top need a bit of reworking though. There is also a 3 piece oil control ring version.. may be 383 part no. but would need to check

Japbikespares.com in Australia do piston kits that are a slightly higher comp. I have had a set and they are good

Cruzinimage rings/pistons are well thought of on here (I have them in my CR750 Rep, 750K2 and 500K2).
I'm sure that its been said that they are made by the same factory as OEM

Don't ask too many questions on ebay or he will block you, don't ask how I know. I purchase through his web site now ;D
