Triggers view on it is that the nut should be on right, for 2 reasons. If you need to remive the wheel with the on board tool kit, you would put your foot on the spanner to give extra pressure to undo the nut. If it was on the left, you would have to pull up on the spanner. And, if it was on the right and you are pulling up on the spanner, there is a risk that the bike could roll forward off of the centre stand.

To be honest, I've seen them both sides and have had my own 400's on both sides. I don't n't think it makes a huge amount of difference though. If I had a puncture, I'd walk away and leave the bike, there's no way I'm taking a wheel off by the side of the road. The practical side of my head says right, the purist side of my head says left.

100% left. Why anyone would even consider putting on the right is beyond me.

Cash is still King in Lincolnshire. Yes, a majority of places take cards but there are some, including pubs, restraunts, butchers etc that will only accept cash or cheque. I don't blame them either. Some of the places that take cards have signs up saying 'cash is our preferred method of payment'. Most of these are independent businesses and not the multi nationals

Looks nice! Bright here up the other end of the country but windy and cold. Not a bike day.
Bright here now in the middle of the country but too bloody cold and windy for a bike ride, or a swim in the sea 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶

They are a very good company, not only because they are just down the road from me.
I bought a new crashelmet 2 years ago, after about 3 weeks, I was riding along and the visor took off completely of its own accord and got run over by a car. I took it back to them and they changed it for a new helmet with no questions, quibble or argument.
They are a highly regarded company around here and I go there to buy most of my bike gear. The coffee is great as well 😁😁😁

True, but it “might” be a good? 😌
Indeed, it may be good.

Great day out on the CB550 mongrels, roads dry, quite warm and a nice bit of sunshine. A stop off for a cup of coffee and later, a stop for lunch, all in a great day out.

Yes, it is easy to build up in the frame. Plenty of clearance available between top of breather cover and frame, unlike the 750's.

Did you measure the crank Lukas, it may well be very worn.
