If the coils are connected the wrong way round the bike will run but the HT spark will be reversed so instead of jumping from the centre spark plug tip to earth the spark path is reversed. {...}
To put it simple: in a wasted spark system, one of the two, is already jumping from ground to center electrode, so if the spark of say #1 plug becomes reversed, than the #4 plug will be reversed the other way around, because they are one circuit. For the running of the engine, it makes no difference which of the two fires from ground to center electrode: performance is the same.

My wife has a 2023 Jazz Hybrid ..  complicated yea but does 67 mpg even around town
These days if your family car doesn't do at least 50mpg (if you stick to the speed limits) then you either have the wrong car or want to waste money. So actually petrol cost in miles per £ is cheaper than ever.
A pity the cheap electric cars look like they will not be available so as to protect western manufacturing which is lagging behind. T introduced a 25% tax and now B has upped it to 100% in the US on Chinese imports. Expect protection here also.
Renault Zoe is very old technology.

Yes.

Sump pan off and you'll see the "tensioning" wheel from underneath just in front of oil pump.

According to the Denso site the plugs you need are Denso-X22ES-U   4. I ordered a set from the Green Spark Plug Company on 24th April and I'm still waiting for them! I have chased them up twice now, the first time the response was they are waiting for Denso to send one plug to complete the order and second time I received no reply at all. Pretty shoddy service really and I wouldn't recommend them.

Didn't know of that company. There is also a W24EP-U but that has a solid SAE connector.

    More and more vehicle manufacturers are dropping or scaling back EV production and going down the Hydrogen route. Even
   Tesla are making a Hydrogen fuel car, or as Elon used to call them not long ago Hydrogen fool cells. Battery only EVs will end up
   the Betamax of the car world. IMHO.

Well, that was a mixed bag. Everything back together and checked the cam chain tensioner, valve clearances and static timing.

The bike started really easily and I thought I had cracked this bike fettling malarkey. Only to find it is firing on the right side only, no heat to speak of all more left exhaust.

Also he bike was idling around 1800rpm and I couldn’t bring it down a lower.

Now to try and find out why!
