It is definitely the device that lightens the clutch action.
I could do with one on mine, can't believe how heavy it is compared with the 550 and the Z650. :(

I buy thinners from the local car paint supplier (Central Car Paints) about £16 for 5 litres and use it for all sorts of cleaning jobs. Don't know a supplier of Wintergreen though.
You can get it off the internet it is used in aromatherapy, don't know why as it stinks. ;D

Thinners with wintergreen oil in it.
The thinners sofen them up and the wintergreen oil is absorbed into the rubber.
As the thinners evaporates it leaves the oil behind.
I have soaked mine for a couple of days, they do expand but don't panic as they shrink again as the thinners evaporates.

Heated gloves, what is the world coming too ? I was a long distance dispatch rider for many years, in all weather. One pair under the tank (nicely heated by the engine) and change them over every hour.

I bet they were FREE issue gloves ;D

Tape the lever up to the grip and leave it for a couple of days.
Works for me.

Paul that looks good. Can you send a link for the one you got off e-bay please? Looking at your photo your bars look just like mine but I can't get the "push" throttle cable to route through the right in front of the right hand stanchion - does your's? I've got a standard cable and my bars are 28" tip to tip with about a 3" rise.
Ash sorry been on holiday and only just seen your post. Can't find the link on eBay but I will keep looking.
Yes the cabels rout in front of the right stantion.

Just along the bottom edge.
I got some off eBay which looks good. Put it in hot water first, it also has an adhesive in it to help keep it there.
I bought some replica ones from DSS and they were crap to say the least, so stay away from them (99p Trig!!) ;D ;D

Trim not the bike Trigger, although I am thinking of selling it.
