I have used LSN coatings in Castleford quite a few times and they always acid dip first as part of the process.
They are very reasonable price wise  ;D

I thought that i did one of your frames ? Or was that someone else  ::)
You did the 750 frame  ;) I had all the others done at LSN Z650, 400/4, 550 K3, Z650 cafe.

Are Vac Bags expensive?
How do you create the Vacuum?
Are they re- useable?
Not too expensive and with a vacuum cleaner  ;)

I bought a set of handle bar grips from them for the CD175 sloper.
Cut the old ones off and came to fit the new ones and the throttle one was incorrect and way too small.
I rang them up and explained that the sloper has a metal tube which goes over the cable control and the grip needs to be much larger to fit this.
They didn't seem interested and said that the part was correct, well when the guys ear had stopped bleeding he took the measurements of my old one and managed to get the correct part as it is used on other models.
GUESS WHAT THE INCORRECT PART IS STILL FOR SALE ON THEIR WEB SITE.
Not interested in changing it, so beware anyone buying the grips for a CD175 sloper THEY DO NOT FIT >:( >:( >:(

After a long time on the phone getting quotes I ended up at BikeSure (Adrian Flux). Two separate policies for modern and classics.

I have been with them for about 5 years now and funnily enough renewed my policy today.

The issue I had with it is getting enough heat into the material you are repairing.

We did a tour of Croatia a few years ago Julie, this took in parts of Montenegro and Bosnia.
I took all EURO cash (well we were in Europe), we got off the coach transfer in a little village in Croatia for lunch on the transfer to the hotel, the courier said I hope you have brought plenty of Kuna  ::) I spent the rest of the holiday changing Euro's to Kuna  >:(

No idea where we are but it's up near the Croatian and Bosnian borders.
Followed what we thought was a sign post to somewhere but, as most things are written in Russian, our guess must have been wrong, it was sort of a farm track, but a very rough one and led up to another mountain range in the middle of nowhere 😂😂😂. Stunning scenery and so quiet.

Russian you are lost  ;D ;D

Dissasemble the switch inside a large plastic bag to contain flying parts!
I will definitely second that  ;D Also in my experience when you are putting it back together as those springs and ball bearings are impossible to find again  :o :(
Luckily I had some knackered old switches  :D

Sounds to me like you topped it up when it had been stood a while and oil tank had drained into sump
I'm fairly convinced this is the issue if I were a gambling man..

When mine has been stood over winter I drain the sump first before starting it.
You would be amazed at the amount in there, just put it back in the tank. :D
