You need more bikes Paul, that garage is almost empty  :D :D

;D ;D I'm going to get shut of a couple.
The K1 750 is getting too bloody heavy to be lugging around  ::)

You need to ride it and not to lug it about  :-*
I'm OK while riding it well on tip toe due to the height and saddle width  ;D ;D it's getting it in and out of the garage and moving it around to do work on the others  :(

Excellent work Paul. The sloper engine is very pretty.
I'm going to try Prestige as my plater in West London can no longer Chrome plate due to environmental issues.
You won't be disappointed but could be a wait.

Why unwrap it just use a multimeter and the wiring diagram.

I would start by disconnecting the red and white wires to the fuse box and rectifier and all the live feeds (anything with a black wire).
Reconnect the red and white wires one at a time and then the black wires one at a time until you find the problematic item section.
This will help to narrow it down.
You can also check the other side of the black wire connections for continuity to earth.

Nice little pootle out to Kirmington in North Lincs today. Had lunch at The Marrowbone and Cleaver, which is owned by Guy Martins Sister. Really good menu and the food was scummy, gets very busy though.
