Yes, pitting is something Philpots in Luton are very used to dealing with, the companies other name is Pitted Forks 😂😂😂. Why not see how they are when you've finished your restoration, you could always send them off to them over the winter to be done.

So just a drop of oil in the cylinders too?
Graham would have left lube on the bores after he did the rebore for you Lukas. Either Graphogen or red  lube guard.

Graphogen on all new surfaces that are going to touch each other, a drop of oil on everything else, except underneath the shells, you fit these dry.

Decided on a close candy match (or maybe not) to the brown.
But haven't yet got the paint for the black sides.
Any suggestions appreciated for quality black aerosols for this?
Will use the SprayMax lacquer on top.
Honda NH1 is the black.

In the sealed bag with all the brackets & fittings was this Grommet.

Could it be an item used on different models that the exhuast also fits so it replaces the square one in silencer pipe two?

Nope, never had that bit in the box Ted, everything that was in with the exhausts is in the photo above. I wonder what that is 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

The Delkevic comes with its own rubber block for the side stand, the OEM rubber one won't fit.

Do you mean the side stand or the centre stand Julie?

The system comes with a square grommet fitted to number two silencer iirc.

There is also a loose large grommet in the Delkevic kit.
Sorry Ted, yes, The Delkevic comes fitted with the centre stand rubber fitted to the exhaust but there wasn't another rubber in the Delkevic kit. The side stand doesn't have any stop on the exhaust, it just butts up against the metal of the frame.

Edit..... Centre stand, not side stand 🙄🙄🙄

That's strange that the fitting was awkward Ted. We fitted a set of the Delkevic 2 weeks ago to a customer's bike and they fell on with no problem at all. The chaps on the USA forum that have bought them also had no issues fitting them. As with all 4 into 4 systems though, even OEM, they never just fall into place without a little bit of a jiggle.

That sounds the answer Julie, do you have any idea how he did it?
I know the very basics of how he did it but I'll ask Graham for more info later. Also, PM me over your email address and I'll send you some photos.

I've got keyless fitted to Millie, my 550 Mongrel. Graham made up the wiring and fitted a hidden master isolater switch and one of the handlebar switch gear slide switches as another isolater and the original start button starts the bike.

It depends which gasket set you use as to the size O rings you will need. All the kits have different depth head gaskets.
