Hi all - I'm trying to locate a fron axle / spindle for my CB650 project and am not seeing many out there - so thought I would ask if anyone has a spare that they are willling to part with.
It needs to be from a CB650 with the leading axle forks (as per picture) - so not the standard UK model. Any help greatly appreciated!

I am guessing that htis is a UK migrant. Have a look on the US Ebay. Most will post to UKand it is not too expensive

Thanks Seamus - I'm building on a budget & in no desperate rush, so have been hoping I'll find one in the UK before she's back on the road.
I've always assumed the postage would be fairly pricey from the US so haven't really looked there yet - you're right thought, stacks of appropriate parts over the water! Will have another look though & see what they cost to send.
cheers.

Hi Andy
I have bought a few bits from the US and not been put off by the postage. (You can easily get a quote on Ebay)
You may have to watch import duty and VA, but if the parts are worth less than

I've never made the Knebworth classic bike show, although always meant to go. I usually go to the Classics on the Green at Harpenden - used to run a lovely orange Porsche 911 which fitted in very nicely there. Whereabouts are you?

Seamus - fill in "Location" on your profile and it will appear on the left of each post.

Hi Steve
That was too simple. Not sure how I missed it when registering. ::)

Cheers Yoshi. I'm still looking for one in the UK as I'm too tight to pay carriage from the US!
ETA to have the bike on the road is end of March so I've a little while yet.

Have a quick look up on Motogrid and used CB650SC as the model for the spindle part number.
You can get a list of the other bikes that use this part number. May help the search (but suggest that you check the part number yourself)
http://www.motogrid.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/7/honda.aspx
On the right hand side, enter the make as Honda and put part number into the next box
Insert the part number (44301-461-770 ) and see what appears.

Cheers Seamus- I like that. I was wondering today if others such as the 750SC fitted. Will widen my search terms.

I've had one made! Far easier. See my "parts bin special" thread for more details.
Thanks all!
