Hi, I've been "lurking" about on here for a couple of weeks now, and thought it was about time I said Hello. My names Clive, recently bought 1976 400/4 as an unfinished project bike. I'm a bit of a technophobe (so I've been told) so when I can work out how to post some pics of the bike, I'll do it.
Great site, loads of useful info, and you all seem pretty friendly, so I'm hoping you wont mind the occational question. :)
Cheers,
Clive

Welcome from me too. You have come to the right place, there are some great folk here.
The 400/4 is a great bike. Bought mine late last year, having never managed to own one in my youth.
Very happy with it. Mine is largely original with just over 9000 miles and didn't need major work.

Welcome Clive.
Nice to see another 400/4 owner on the forum
Have fun

Hi Clive.
Another "local" :)
At the top of this section there's a "Newbs start here" thread. It contains instructions and hints as to posting pictures etc.

Welcome to the mad world of the SOHC, many 400 owners on here, which seems to be getting bigger. Enjoy.

Aye, welcome. What 400four is it: F1/F2? What colour? Any photos? Is it running yet?

It's an F1 in blue, not running yet as It's short of a few bits. I hadn't planned on working on it untill the end of the summer, but I'm finding it a bit like cold beers in the fridge, can't resist it..so some work being done.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
