Title: CB550 K1

Seen a CB550 k1 for sale by Motorcycles Unlimited in London which I am interested in.
Wondering if any members have had dealings with this company in the past and have any recommendations.
As I am based in Scotland I would have to buy it sight unseen which is not always a good idea.
Having said that I have bought bikes this way in the past and it has worked out for me.

Thanks Wolfheze for your input,agreed,the pipes are not an endearing feature but these can be changed.

If you are planning on long trips, you might want to consider changing them. Also, how picky are the cops round your way? It'll be impossible to ride unobtrusively.

Post by: flatfour on February 07, 2016, 09:10:49 AM: Frank bought a CB750 from a close friend of mine last year (the 1970 on the website in blue, a John Wyatt/Rising Sun restoration). I had some help in setting up the deal whilst my friend, who is retired was on holiday and all dealings with Frank were straightforward.

I would not hesitate to deal with him myself.
