Thanks for that information, mine was registered April 71, frame no 1035029 engine a few digits after so makes it a later batch I think. It's in pieces and I need quite a bit to put it tiger so wanted the correct spec for it. It has the wrong airbox at the moment.

Hi just looking at the KO is that airbox correct! The reason I ask is that I have the same one on a April 1971 K0 but thought they should be the same as the tank and side panel covers

Hi everyone first post so treat me gently with any replies. I have purchased a UK (Reg early 1971) CB750, been looking for one of these for a long time. Engine and frame are within a few digits of each other. Is there a register or does anyone know how many were imported and does anyone have something about late 1970 early 1971 to compare.
Thanks and all the best out there.

Nice info on the wheels will take a look, I will post pictures (hope you wont laugh).
Should carbs be 4 cables into one, mine does.

Hi no I bought it a few years back from an importer, I have been buying original nuts and bolts from Germany, got some new forks and wireing harness from the States. Its a US spec bike.
Its complete and runs all chrome is good, but I think the front mudguard is a later one.
Should it have a black kill switch (forgot to ad this one to the list)
Exhausts are repairable but not `300`. I will replace these with pattern ones (Anyone know where the best place I can get some from).
Thanks

Hi everyone, trying to piece together the proper specification for the above bike. I have read quite a bit of information but would like to pick all your brains on the spec this bike left the factory before I start pulling it apart again.
Colour, although the tank is gold I don’t think that this colour came out before frame number ###20000, mine is around the ###19000 mark.
Tank, should it be a wrinkle tank?
Front mudguard, should it be single or double cut?
Seat, should it be ducktail?
Can anyone give me the correct spec for this bike I know they changed them very rapidly over this period.
Every bit of info would help.

Starter Switch rebuild 1970 K0
I have the original switch I want to rebuild but the buttons are damaged! Looking at the price of new (£100+) I just wanted to rebuild my own. Can you get black kill switches and the other buttons new from anywhere! And what`s the best paint for repainting this black.
Thanks
