Title: Newby from USA
Post by: brewsky on September 02, 2019, 04:46:28 PM
Just found this site looking for the SOHC4.net site, which appears to be offline for the 3rd day?

Looks like a good one with some good resources!

Been riding and tinkering with old stuff for quite a while, but always trying to learn something new.

I have asked Glenn what’s going on.

He’s either on holiday and hasn’t noticed, or it’s more serious. We did have a denial of service attack (or the server did anyway) a while back.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Yes, that is my K8 in the avatar, my other daily riders are a 550K, and a 305 Dream, ...my T500(Suzuki) is still a basket case for now.

BTW, I stopped in a new local shop today an found some beautiful British Iron on display!   Hope not to offend anyone here, but I like them all!

Welcome ! .... Whereabouts in the USA

Check these out .. I was fed up of trawling the internet for .pdf manuals only to find a lot of dead links or site that wanted your credid card number so decided to have my own little collection linked on here.

Welcome brewsky
I like the photos looks more like a bank than Motorcycle shop, certainly different to the bike shops we have here.

I'm in western Virginia (coal country)...lots of twisty roads here.

Thanks for the links, those are great to have in one place.....that work!

It actually is an old bank converted to a shop!

Welcome to the forum brewsky.

When I first walked in and the salesman asked if he could help me, I said "yes, get me one of those bowls to drool in"

I was actually thinking about negotiating on the '68 CB350 but the price is pretty high

Welcome here, brewsky!
