CB750 / CD175 Sloper.
« on: October 28, 2013, 06:47:36 PM »
Hi. Guys.

Well went and done it again, still in the middle of restoring cb750 k2, and I have gone and got myself a CD175 Sloper 1967/68 but I was wondering if any one could give me a link to the site that lists all the engine and frame numbers, to check it out, I would also be grateful for any links to, or sites to go to for parts or info besides David Silver and csml  as they are asking funny money for most things and they don't even have a lot of things now for the older stuff, wonder who's hanging onto it all.
Well hope you can help again.  Cheers Jock.

CB750 / cb750 k2 engine needed
« on: July 04, 2013, 07:23:47 AM »
Hi. Guys,

Me again I know this is as likely as finding the exhausts, but does anyone have a spare cb750 k2 engine they would be willing to sell, or know where to get one. needs to be running and fins and barrel intact, I know they are like hens teeth but thought I would ask, thought I had one but when the guy was moving it for collection he dropped it and damaged the fins but was very decent about and let me know right away so could cancel sale, here's hoping.

Cheers Jock.

« on: July 02, 2013, 07:05:00 PM »
Hi. Guys,

Any one out there have any idea where all the exhaust have gone, unavailable at David Silver and cmsl, plus any other place I can think of, only place is a German site and they want £1550.00 per set, or £688.00 each, ( HELL ) the price of stuff is going through the roof, do you think some one is holding on to it all then going to cash in, why cant any one come up with repos. Getting harder and harder to get parts.

Round the bend Jock. >:( :o

CB750 / No spark at plugs
« on: September 25, 2011, 04:41:34 PM »
Hi Guys,

Fired the engine up on KO after rebuild, but had to shut down with bad fuel leak on No. 4&2 carbs. Fitted new float seats and needles, now ok but have no spark at plug leads, fitted new condensers and checked timing but still no spark, dose this just leave coils as main suspect or should I be looking elsewhere, would appreciate any input.

Cheers, Jock.  ???
