Thanks.

So the (european) parts book is wrong.
Shows that stay with ears for Itlaly only and the one withour ears for UK, Germany, France etc.

Should say the other way round.

That is the rear stay to be sold.

Is that the German only version with those blinker ears or European market?

Two steps ahead, one step back.. decided to have the pipes and the front fender re-chromed  and replace the rear stay with a better one I found.

What is it, that makes some people think that including the word "Sandcast" when advertising something for sale.
Justifies a ridiculously high price?
Even if the part is common to other models.

As far as I am concerned, when I sell a part on ebay, I add to which model it fits.

If I am seling a CB750four part, and it fits a sandcast, K0, K1-K6 then thats exactly what I write in the headline.
Or should I write KO- K6, or better K1-K6 ?

If it fits Z1, Z1-A, Z1-B, Z900 .... even though its not a Z1 only part, what may I write?

Ha ha!
Remember trying to fit mirrors on Ace bars?

We resorted to bar-end mirrors (see avatar)

Just learned from the A4 parts book that German and French A4 had those chrome mirrors. Didn’t knew that because you never seen them here with those mirrors but I wondered why that bike came with them.

Will change that immediately!

Thanks for info. I wouldn’t dare, here in Germany I would have more trouble in finding parts or a case.

Sorry for asking and good luck! That will be very interesting to follow.

Sorry to ask that question but is its worth restoring that bike?

That will cost a lot (not thnking at the time) and I notced that CB450 parts are even more expensive (and rare) as CB750 K0 parts.

And in the end you will have a nice looking bike with not matching numbers.

Have no experience with DS but a lot of dealers sell replica parts.

Looks great as usual from what I have seen with all your bikes. Heard the MOT in Germany ia very tough??

Depends on the engineer examing the bike.

When you get a 30 year old that never saw an old nike like this, it can be time consuming.
With the Z1-R it was done in 10min. An old fart that had a Z1000R back in the days.

Mostly finished. Some work and cosmetics to do.
Fired up without problems. I have a runner!
Next week MOT.
