Every Wednesday a lot of the old Jack's Fish & Chip shop crowd (Bagshot on the A30 until it was recently demolished), meet up at the Pathfinder Cafe at Blackbushe airport at lunchtime. I didn't go myself, perhaps next week, but looking at the Bagshot Bikers FB page, someone had posted pictures of lots of the bikes from yesterday, there was a gorgeous CB500/4. Anyone from here? If I make it next week I'll say hello. (picture nicked from FB, not mine).

Have to work, couldn’t get the day off
Shame, nice day, not too hot and didn't p*ss down, and the £5 per item thing worked with getting rid of quite a few parts. But, I did miss some of the SOHC guys that had made it along to previous jumbles.

Alas, this is one of the few occasions I can't make it to Kempton - hope itgoes well for you!
Shame, I was hoping you’d go home with a big box of bits! 😃

Those of you who’ve bought stuff off me before at Kempton, come and see me today on stall 114, everything on my stall is a fiver! Or less.

That's lovely, I still have a hankering for an early one, (the later don't do anything for me personally). Hope your health is good now.

Did a sneaky first ride (proper countryside so no main roads)
Some things no note and the reasons I ended it pretty quickly, I've got a hanging idle which revs up between gears, sometimes to high to be comfortable with. Its definitely running rich which may be part of it?
Are you 100% sure carbs are balanced exactly? I remember back in my 400/4 days, that was always the giveaway that carbs needed balancing.

Hi all, as no-one wanted to buy my job lot off me, I will have to advertise each item one by one, so here are the first two. I have a pair of generator covers, and as I understand it, the one with the screw-on logo is for the 500, and the one with the logo as part of the cover is for a 550. The 500 one is in better nick, but both are good, just need a really good clean and buff. All threads look good. UK postage and packing for each cover will be £3.99.

UPDATE : carbs gone, all cylinder head covers gone, but I still have head and barrel. That random ignition/horn set has gone. Tool tray gone. I do have several good clutches complete, (plus a couple from smaller models with that funny rear bracket). Sump cover, oil filter cover, swingarm with chain guard, at least one, or two complete gearbox clusters. It still all fills four large boxes, it's not doing my hernia any good keep moving them! £150 for the lot if some one fancies coming to Woking and taking away, (only item not included is the two small covers in my separate ad). Cheers, Tony.

Hi all, I have a pair of these cylinder head covers, (the small ones at end of main rocker cover), that appear to be NOS. The rubber O rings are present and look ok, there is a little dirt in the crevices, but looking at them inside I really do think they are un-used. CMS in the Netherlands list them at £40 each, and they are currently unavailable. David Silver says discontinued. Secondhand ones average around £15 each, so £30 for a pair, so I think £40 is a fair price. I DO NOT have the little L shaped brackets they attach to, but CMS have them for around £6.50 each. Collect from Woking, Surrey, or I can post at cost, thanks, Tony.

Kemptons too far and boris tax too high for me
Shame, though it's outside all the zones.

Hi all, just a heads-up, I'm at Kempton tomorrow with all the remaining Honda stuff, as described above. Really need to get rid now, I'll take offers on everything, including head, barrel, nos set of 3rd size piston rings, a tool tray, etc etc. Come and find me on stall 114, (back to the racecourse, pretty much in the middle), and take away armloads of Honda bits.

Oh, and I found this again, I was told it may be 250/350 circa late sixties early seventies.
Yes those certainly look CB250/350K Tony. The anorak in me tells me they are post 1969 as the bolts don't have the large '8' on them So K2->
Thanks for the info
