Title: rear brake arm / spring
Post by: buxtonmick on November 12, 2012, 09:10:34 AM
Can someone inform me as to the correct fitting of the rear brake arm & spring assembly please?  I've got it all in but the spring for the brake light switch is far too loose and of course will not hold the switch in its bracket.  I've probably got the spring wrapped behind the wrong bit of frame or something...

Cheers, Mick.

Like you I took it apart without photographing, thinking nah I can remember how that goes back....

This works so I assume its right. The last picture shows the view from the other side, with the hook of the spring coming round under the arm that operates the switch.

Brilliant Tom, thanks a lot!  Spring is on fine - I've got the arm upside down for some reason, which means the pedal would have to be pulled up to apply the brake... :-[

Cheers, Mick.
