Bryan,

I have a K6 they are off a K4/K5 the Guy said it was a 1975 K4. I got them in the end so if they don't fit i will have to sell them. as for the ones I have if I sell them how can i find out what bike they are of so as not to misled people. can i download a manual for a 450 twin and 500 four?
thanks for all your help.

Billy you could look on here to see if it helps you identify your forks,

My 550 forks have a centre rod.

That makes them not 550 Lester, but the 550 sliders will fit.

If the caliper mountings are K6 then the sliders are early 500 four as the 450 had the caliper braket same as early 750. Fork tubes should be slightly shorter than 750

Thanks Mick, that site is great. the forks I have are off a CB500K1 would that be 1971?

I will be selling them as soon as I have the new ones serviced.
Thanks Guys

I wondered why I need to mess with fluid levels. I put in the exact amount stated in the manual and it's behaving like the forks are empty.
