Are these bikes really this small
I,just had a run out to Guildford on my standard 500/4 and when I parked up I looked back at the bike as I normally do....
And this is what I saw

There is no photoshop on this and the picture was taken pretty much square on.....
That other bike is massive or mines tiny (perhaps a bit of both)
Anyway it made me feel like I was 16 again parking my moped next to the real bikes at the train station going to tech?

Looks like you may have one of the very rare reduced sized versions Mjc477 - not many left now ! Joking aside- I feel the same when I park my own 1975 500/4 next to modern bikes , especially vs tyre widths.

MJC477,
Nah it ain't small just compact and neat.
Do you really want to ride a moon mobile?
Take off all the plastic crap put a proper swing arm on it and hey not much to look at anymore.
One of the reasons why I like retro bikes not fussed how old.
Cheers

I must admit more people looked at mine
And you can't beat retro bikes .....this old honda really does get plenty of attention when I'm out on it
I guess you really don't see to many around
And it does make me chuckle that most of these "adventure bikes" never really see wet weather...let alone a bit of mud......

I know which one I prefer!!

Those little old Hondas are brilliant bits of kit and capable of lasting really well and they normally gather a crowd too. I'd not want to be without a 500/4.

Small but perfectly formed.
I make a new friend everytime I park my 550.
