It's always good to fill in the location in your profile. That way people know where you are when replying to any questions - and may even come over and help!

;) yep gets my vote too, its like the adds not giving a price. no price I don't enquire. only for the other n/Ireland lads putting up their location I would have no idea there was so many of us.

Adding your location could double your chances of local help!

:) thanks bitsa, let me just add something else. recently I posted an ad looking for an old rear carrier for my 400, forum member lester piglet sent me some pics of one he had gathering rust in his workshop. now he shows his location as I do so you can imagine my delight. a quick call to a pal living only a couple of miles from les and regularly passes my way and the deal was done. les gets a few quid for his bike and I get something I've wanted for ages. no ebay fees no postage, and all because we knew we were in the same area. simples.

If like me you have a few bikes which are pretty well the only bikes for miles. I feel it kind of pays not to advertise just in case the wrong person is online and hinking of paying a visit, of course it also helps if those bikes are ruins.

Hmmm.

You can add location (I just did), but the server is out of disc space for storing uploaded files so bombs out when you try to upload an avatar.  Last time I looked I had 2.5Gb of server logs but can't delete them as I don't have the privileges!
