I wouldn't pay any attention to the bolts fitted...they were in it ..someone must have just been popping it together..
The one in my bike has seen some action so I wouldn't pay any attention to the bolts either..
The D washers were missing when I got it...and now that reminds me I need a pair for that one too...so that's 3 i need

I have 3 yokes here
The 2 old ones are from k0's and are/ were fitted
The nos was just something I have picked up along the way..
I will check tomorrow as I'm in now but I'm pretty certain they are all identical

Unsure of nos but it looks exactly like a k0 one I have here .

Either way I decided not to use it and recon the original.
Looks like part number ends in 305
Book says should end in 010 for my bike

Just looking at a nos top yoke..I'd say definitely satin finish..
And its definitely comparable to the one on my other 500 here

Any tips on removing the steering lock on a 500 k0...
I dont have the key but I do have a replacement with a key so the old one is not going to be reused!

These little hondas live off being revved .
Wasnt there a thread on these engines....may be yours julie.

About pre detination.
Alot off rebuilt engines completely fubard after 2000 miles .after being rebuilt
When built these bikes were designed to be ridden hard..and they were direct from the show room for many thousand miles
Now after a rebuild we are all abit to sensible and just dont ride them as originally intended not taking them above 4000 rpm.

The engine was designed to be revved hard..
That's why the red line is way round.

Hi I use this method but quite hard to explain.
Get everything clean as you can and position the decal exactly where it is going and use a low tack masking tape to hold it there . Abit each side..
And just off center .
Then lift up one side and peel off the backing and cut it off...
Then lay this side back down with the help of a credit card or spreader.
This should then be where you original had it in position.

Now you have one side stuck and one with the backer .
Now lift the backed side up and un peel it now just lay that back over ...job done
