I can only think that it's tying up on the bearing Ted, maybe you need to drift it in ever so slightly more?

I have a local source for most O rings

A company called Hayley Group

On a local industrial estate, the Hereford branch are really helpful,

Imperial, metric,fuel resistant etc,

And the bonus, normally a fraction of the cost of NOS,

Take a sample, and the item, like tappet cap ,they will find the size needed

I'll fill it up with stuff in no time I'm sure, I'd have lived to have gone bigger but I'm doing it within permitted development rules (I think) and getting this far has cost a small fortune

Maybe get the block skimmed which will make the oring recess slightly shallower, that's what I did following Brian's advice after he rebored my block.  I used Vesrah gaskets from DS

It's 7200 x 4800, yeah I do feel a bit knackered today but I did have 2.5 helpers.  Making a concrete chute through the hedge out of corrugated tin was the best idea I had, it made it so much easier, oh and hiring a speed float and easy screed followed by 3 pints while it began curing😀

There's not really a right place for this but yesterday was concrete pour day for my workshop (day job) to make space in my current place for my bikes.  5m³ of concrete is quite a lot to move and level, I'm aching a bit today!

Didn’t Louis Moto have any Dom? They’re cheaper and I got mine in 48 hrs.

I hope I've ordered the right one then Roo but it was cheaper from Digital speedos 😬

🤣 so I ended up ordering my speed sensor from Digital speedos, it was the only place in the UK I could find the Honda version

Looks promising Johnny,  I've tried calling them today right from opening time to now ten times, only ever engaged which makes me think they jus have the phone off the hook.  On that basis on definitely ordering elsewhere

That's a result, they seem to have done away with the discount codes now.  I've decided to order my gauge from Urban Rider, not only cheaper but they answer the phone.

I think when I order I'll just stick it on a credit card for safety
