Title: Anyone own a Honda CB400 (NC31) Super Four please help
Post by: Wenman on March 04, 2019, 05:48:33 PM: I am trying to fit a swingarm from a cb400sf into a 1981 cb750.

I could really do with photographs of the swingarm as it fits to the original bike to assist with my quest.

If anyone has one that could send some pics I would be forever grateful!

Any other help would also be appreciated

If possible can I see close ups of the swingarm pivot point. If you look at the swingarm where the pivot bolt runs through I’m particullary interested in where the swingarm meets the inside of frame.

If you can imagine I plan on making spacers to take up the gaps at each side of the swingarm as the 750 frame is wider than the new swingarm.

You will find a drawing of the swingarm in here so at least you will know if its complete. It is a Russian translation but you have to take what you can find with the Superfours. ;)

Post by: Moorey on March 05, 2019, 04:48:41 PM: It is chalk and cheese and not fair to compare. Its lighter, faster, handles, stops, more power and is very small and low. That's why its so popular in the Asian market. Seat height 755mm, anyone above 5' 8" could possibly find it cramped. I think it a great little thing.

Can you see... those silver bushings coming out of the swingarm, do they just butt up against the frame or do they fit inside a recess in the frame?
