Brilliant photo's. Reminded us of our European adventures on our F2 and 68 bonneville. They were much more adventurous than we ever were.

I think those sprocket sizes are right for an F2 so maybe you picked up some f2 wheels and engine.

Wouldnt mind getting hold of some 1.5's at +0.75mm as I have a set of rebored barrels and unused pistons sat waiting for them.

Not safe as far as I'm concerned any bending could potentially weaken them and that could be fatal to them and possibly to you. Don't want to sound dramatic but thats how I see it.

Piston top would much lighter colour if it had got too hot so I'm with florence it's been over revved, although I would have expected some valve damage in the piston top if that were the case.

My deepest sympathies Andy . There are no words that can help but I hope you find the strength you need for yourself and your children. Get well soon for their sake if not your own.

Judging by the court case post it would be my guess that DS is indeed using genuine parts .

cmsnl.com quote ssh750 as the alternate part. 50301268305
(50301-268-010) RACE, STEERING
Note: this part is superseded by 50301268000. SSH750  fits almost half the old bikes right down to 125's
Their parts drawings are pretty good to follow. Just watch the postage though it can get a bit expensive

We recently had a dry ice blaster at work as a demo that seemed really effective. It did need a huge compressor however and the dry ice was astronomically expensive. Hire was about
