I need some help or should i say a boost of motivation and perhaps encouragement, i took on my restoration project of a 750 F2 a few months ago and got stuck straight in with it, i have bought 99% of the parts needed and done a lot of the hard work, but i have run out of steam and reached a sticking point in the rebuild, it is almost leading me into a depression, i have no idea why but i have these big plans of what i am going to do to it i then go out into the garage to make a start only to have a look at it and then just walk away and leaving it to another day and so on the same thing the next day, and so it goes on and on. I have sat down and had a long think on why this is happening, i can only pin point the cold weather as one main reason for the lack of enthusiasm, another is i have got so many bikes and so much junk that the practibility of doing it all properly with room to lay everything out is just not an option at the moment, i am building a new storage area at the side of my house to gain some more room, i am hoping that this may help, Does any one else get like this and just loose the momentum and interest, is there any advise or suggestions people can make to help me out hear as i am considering selling up all the bits and being done with it. Pete

Yes i might be up for a meet up box hill /west kingston or where ever it be, but i must say on visiting the VJMC website i found it lacking in any current activity, and out of date, really unappealling. plus they want a fair few quid to join up as well Pete

The Rear disk and all parts that make up the rear brake on the F2 are so heavy, I cant believe they made such a large overkill heavy set up, Yoshi had the right idea with his rear disk conversion. on my cafe project i am not sure whether to do the same as yoshi did on the rear or just use the standard set up Pete

Yes I have modern bikes, my FZ1 is tuned right up and has 151BHP at rear wheel, when you hit about 5000 revs the front will come right up in the air even if your doing 100 mph Proper seat of the pants stuff, on the other extreme i have a honda dax 70 , i am not expecting anything mind blowing from the cb, the cafe racer really appeals to me. below are pictures of the two mentioned bikes plus a picture off the USA site i am using for inspiration on the cafe project Pete
