Check the part number on cmsnl, but quick search on eBay found the gaskets alone

Hi Mag 1, the ebay gaskets are different to mine and dearer than the the carb service kit, the kit in the states is 10 dollars for the four gaskets, but need them asap. Sorry for my ignorance but what is the part checker you mentioned ? Anybody tried good old fashioned blue gasket sealant for the job, so i can get it tested ?

The part checker Mag1 is referring to is on cmsnl.com (netherlands based parts supplier)
If you have a copy of the 400 parts list (available in alladin's cave on this site) you can find the part no. for the gaskets you require. They are part of a set (not sure if you can get just the float chamber one's on their own).
Anyway go to cmsnl.com and put in the part no. (16010-333-004) and it'll bring up the parts. Here I've done it for you.
https://www.cmsnl.com/products/16010333305-packing-set_16010333004/#.WQTdClKZORs
postage can be prohibitive from cmsnl.

or an internet search brings up hits on ebay too.

David Silver Spares has them too but by the time you add VAT and postage it comes out dearer than the ebay offering.

the House shape one you need is actually the big circular one before it is shaped by the bowl recess.

I'm not sure gasket sealant would be effective.
Hope you can find your gaskets in time.

Peter.

Yes sorry, should have used full website for cmsnl, parts from USA don't take that long, usually a week, depends if it gets through post office without additional costs for import duty. Some do some don't depends on size and price being declared by the poster. I would use compound sealant, it's messy and a bugger to clean off all the nocks and crannies of the carb.

I meant to say don't use compound sealent.
