Hi, my name Martin I have just bought a Phil Reid Replica  :D
I have read a lot ref how to authenticate it as correct and true ref frame numbers , key in correct place etc and chromed rubber bar etc .
Any other ideas please how I can authenticate this bike?
I see there is a web site for these and Honda Britains but it seems to have a fault for contacting the members or sig ning up to be a member, can any one point me to who to contact ref other owners of these bikes please :D

Welcome to the forum. There's a few guys on here with Phil Read Reps so I;m sure you you'll get some help. Rebuilt one myself in the 90's - wish I'd kept it now! Unfortunately my detailed knowledge has gone.

Welcome to the forum Martin. The guy you need to contact is "whiteylfc" his name is John. He runs the PRR website and keeps a list of all known PRR's. He is a fountain of knowledge on those bikes. You may have to wait for a reply as I don't think he's on here a lot. Try sending him a PM. By the way, the frame on my F2 in the Avatar is a PRR frame that I bought off Whitey (sorry, pointless information I know). Cheers.
