Title: CB550K Frame Question
Post by: daggartuk on October 22, 2016, 11:55:05 AM
Hi all, I'm thinking of getting some leather bags made up for my 1978 CB550K cafe racer. The bags will attach to the inverted triangular section of the frame where the air box sat. The guy who makes them already stocks bags for the CB500 so my question  is this --is the triangular section the same on both the 500 and the K3? Thanks fellas.

As far as I can see they are the same. Measuring inside the triangle. Front tube: 33cm, Back tube 37cm, Top tube: 31cm.
Just make sure he is talking about the classic CB500 four and not the more modern Honda CB500 twins.
