I'm thinking of drilling the front disc and was wondering if anyone knows a good place to get this done in the South East?

Thanks for posting, although there are quite a few bits on this one that could be better for that price in my honest opinion, such as the exhausts, saddle, US Indicators etc. Striping on the tank doesnt seem right either, whilst it should have white Honda shields

A bit deceptive Im afraid John, as it was granted to the bike as an age related plate when I first registered it upon import.. ;-)

Did a very enjoyable 1,000 miles in 5 days crossing Belgium, Netherlands and Germany without missing a beat :-)

Average 100km/7L with top speed of 120mph on the dials at times - not sure what that equates to in real miles though..

CB750 / Original ducktail seat
« on: May 08, 2016, 06:26:53 PM »
Have been pondering for a while, but it is time to let go of the ducktail seat I've owned for some time, as Ive decided to stick with my K2 and not pursue a K0 diecast or sandcast in the future.

Rather than put it on the Bay, I'd rather have that someone finish off their restoration with it to enjoy for years to come. I have seen some of these offered for around £1,200 and am not after that kind of silly money, but at the same time would like get a decent amount for it to invest in my bike(s).

About the seat itself:

- it is original with red/brownish foam
- it is not mint but in very good condition and considering the complete lack of corrosion on the pan and fittings, I suspect it has never been fitted
- the chrome on the side has some dents due to storage

I think there are some people on here restoring K0's so let me know if you're interested

May also consider an K2 tank + side panels in good original condition in exchange, to change colour on my bike from time to time.

Will post some pics shortly

Have you checked for air leaks between carb and head?

Thx guys, did have some help in lifting it out and yes it was a pain! :-)

PS have a 70cc on it as well Pete, but with a 50cc head and adapted piston. Agree that prices  for a fully original one have gone ballistic!

I like the red&white one. Apart from those mentioned, the black frame SS often came with a red/orange tank in the Netherlands, and there were quite a few funky 70 special paint versions as well.
