Title: eBay web Tool
Post by: JonnyB on November 06, 2020, 04:52:46 PM
Now that we are full swing stage two Covid lockdown I'm not so busy at work (I'm a software developer by day) so I thought I'd knock up a little web tool so I can see what's for sale on eBay that I may be interested in.

It's mobile friendly so you can use it while out and about.
It only updates about every hour at the moment. Let me know your thoughts.

I can. I'm limited to the amount of queries I make to ebay. If you have one you would like I'll see how it impacts my account.

I'm probably going to drop GS500 soon anyway as I'm done with my project.

For full disclosure I do get any tiny kick back from ebay if an item is bought after following a link.

It's very good. But, I have CB750/4 parts for sale on ebay and none of them show on your list. It looks like DK have the monopoly 😭😭😭

Mmm, interesting. So I don't get swamped with every item in ebay I limit the search to specific categories and used items only. Big sellers abuse the category system in eBay

Give me a link to the item. I'm interested to see why.

I will PM you a link to my ebay page because I sell new and used parts for all Honda SOHC/4's.

I think an aggregated search facility can be quite useful

Have found many things via this one https://picclick.co.uk/Vehicle-Parts-Accessories/Motorcycle-Parts/?q=honda+750+sohc

Fairly quick to view with the pictures, my son uses this extensively as dyslexic but highly image accuracy sensitive.  That's assuming you know what the part you want looks like  :)

Thanks, I've used PC click also. and my code would work in a similar way, I don't have the resources they have but I like to think mine is a little more mobile friendly
