According to the http://www.sohc4.net/cb550-faq/
the left sides fit all years but the right side differs on one mounting. Maybe it won't be too difficult to modify 33

Great thanks!
Do you know if they would fit a cb500 frame? 34

Hey everyone
Hope you're having a good weekend. Can anyone identify the side panels in the picture? and if so where could I get some? Cheers 35
I want a classic look so was looking at the Avon Speedmasters.

They also have a rating of 212 kg. Maybe a stupid question but does this weight include the rider or is it just the bike. 38
Actually the site lists S as 112mph

Hey guys!
I'd like to replace the tyres that came with the bike. So the manual says it takes front/back 3.25-19 /3.5-18 but I don't know what speed or weight rating I should go for. From the research I've done the Heidenau K34 seem to be the most appropriate. Does any one have any recommendations? Can I fit a 3.5-19 on the rear wheel? Much appreciated 41

Sorry Trigger I don't quite understand, is there an actual pin in between the liner and alloy or did you hit it with something aka staked
Burro if you wanted a picture of the liner there is one on the first page. Cheers 42

For anyone interested the wheel without the tyre is 9.5 kg so well within the my Hermes limit so will be using them. Didn't think the rubber and air would be so heavy.
Thanks for all your advice and suggestions Have a good one 43

Yeah the complete wheel which weighs 19 kg so it's over the Hermes Limit. Will removing the tyre get it to bellow 15 do you think?

I'm trying to get my wheel up to huddersfield. Has anyone sent a wheel before and could recommend a service to use?
Cheers 45

Given that wheels in good condition are pretty rare (only one rusted thing on DK) I will have to go with relining.
Clive, did you go with Paul Jackson in the end? If so how did you get the wheel to him Cheers |
